Hey grandad, me again, Guess what…! Lately I’ve been applying for a few jobs in care so I can further my training and get on the first steps into becoming a nurse. I’ve had three interviews so far… two were for a care home around Peterborough and the other was for an apprenticeship with the nhs. I’ve been offered a job for one of the care homes. Got an interview on Tuesday for another care home. The nhs apprenticeship interview went really well but unfortunately I didn’t get it. However, before they had told me, they apparently when down to their finance department to see if the could take on another person but that didn’t happen. However, me and mum have a feeling that you are working your magic and something good will come from it. Change of subject - Im 18 in two weeks time. Mum keeps saying that you would be scared about me growing up if you saw me now. It’s crazy how fast time flies. A day after my birthday I’ve got another big day, it’s my driving test! That’s going to be a nerve wracking day. I wish you were to see me. See everything that I’m achieving. You would be so proud. I know for sure on the day of my driving, you’ll be looking after me.
